I pray you’ve all had a good month of August. If not, maybe September will be better. A lot has been going on in the world lately. I have been doing my usual, reflexology, painting, walking, Squatching on occasion, and writing.
My newest venture is learning how to take better videos.
I’ve been exploring digital videography in a little different way. I have followed some YouTubers on a regular basis for quit some time. They encourage me, inspire me, give me hope and teach me. I have as much fun watching them as I do learning from them. Something else I’m learning is how YouTube is often a big help to people who live as shut-ins, due to health issues or the jobs they work. Lots of them provide encouragement to folks like me. My thoughts are, If they can produce videos that are interesting and fun to watch, surely I can try to make some, too.
My life is sporadic, yet grounded. Like everyone else, some parts of it are more challenging than others. It’s trial and error while learning to live with illnesses and hardships and still get the most out of the moments, and do what I can to achieve a better quality of it. “Occupy until Jesus comes,” I say.
I don’t have chickens but my friends do, so, I can experience the company of chickens through my friends. I don’t fly above the trees but can experience the view from a video taken by a drone that someone shares for others to experience. I have no plans to ski down a mountain in Utah, but would love to look through someone else's eyes while they careen down the slope.
Learning to make videos that may help, empower or make you think outside the box is my quest with videography. Also, it’s always fun and interesting when there’s a mystery that needs to be solved.
I hope you visit my personal YouTube channel from time to time and get a smile, or it causes laughter to come from your spirit or maybe even a thrill. One day I hope to mount a camera on my cycle helmet. For now it is handheld or on my rigged- with-duct-tape-cheapo-selfie-stick. You can laugh but it works.
I know there are going to be some thumbs down and critical comments, but such is life on planet earth. I pray to rise above it with plain old common sense.
God bless and I thank you for the visit!
Please enjoy the latest video (below) on my YouTube channel. Be mindful of your device's volume--it's got music in the background. ☺
