![]() September has came and gone and was filled with activity in my home. Preparing for Kunstfest took much of my time this month. I made carry bags to hold most of my paintings this year. I also had a new display board although I’m not for sure if I will use it again until I make it easier to haul. Now I will be getting ready for this winter's festival. I’m loving the cooler weather--it makes it much easier for me to hike my two miles, six days a week. I take Sundays off, most weekends. I prefer messing with the horses in cooler weather also--there are way less bugs and overheating issues for both me and the horses. My YouTube channel is coming along. I'm having fun producing random videos about a variety of things, yet nothing in particular. I'm hoping to get some night videos made soon, and looking for things to go with a headless horseman theme, which is a local legend. We've been having quite a lot of fog with the weather changing from summer to fall, which makes for more interesting videos. We also had family in from Brazil last month. My brother and his wife, Ken and Bella Cooper, are missionaries in Brazil. They visited the states last week during the United Pentecostal Church International General Conference in Indianapolis and were able to stay with us for a few days. Usually we visit on the computer but last week’s in-person visit was great! I’m even enjoying a cup of the Brazilian coffee they brought us as I write. We love good coffee and the Brazilian coffee is a sincere treat! On the subject of reflexology, I have been incorporating olive oil mixed with coconut oil for a variety of needs as well as to wash my face. Olive oil has many wonderful properties and so far, I’m liking the results. I'm looking forward to October and what God brings our way in the months to come. Life is full of challenges but with God it all works out for the good no matter what. Until next month be blessed! Love Jesus with all your heart and strength and love your neighbor as yourself. Reading your stories takes me back to hearing the screen door shut on the house in Pumpkin Run. Seeing the oven door open as it warmed the dining area and listening to your momma and Big Mom play the old piano!!! Thank you for the memories of a wonderful childhood! Love you cousin.

Marla, I am glad this gave you a good feeling. Now we can make new memories for our children to look back on and feel all warm and fuzzy on the inside. Just reading your comment caused fond memories to flood my mind. I love you cousin!! Nothing like old screen doors slamming, lol

Vicki, I have seen the images of your land, it is beautiful. I often think of how you told of hearing the pod of whales in the cove splashing and singing while laying on the rocks as you gazed at the stars. We are blessed to live in such beautiful lands.
