I hope you all are happy and healthy, or at least striving to be. I learned you have to start somewhere and no time like the present. You know what they say, if you first do not succeed, try, try again.
I have been attending the farmers' and artisans' market this summer on Saturday mornings in New Harmony, IN. I've really enjoyed participating in this event and have had the privilege of working reflexology on some wonderful people.
Bare feet goodies
Today I purchased a pair of barefoot sandals, handmade from another local vendor.
I have always wanted a pair. Being a reflexologist I encourage people to spend some quality time going barefoot on various surfaces. As soon as we arrived home I changed into them and I absolutely love them!
They make me feel like I should be at the beach, but I guess my garden and the wooden floors in my house will have to suffice.
Other than looking cool, my professional opinion is these are likely good for you because they stimulate some important areas on your feet gently while allowing you the health benefits of being in bare feet.
Tasty, healthy sipping from fun & expressive bottles
I also wanted to share with you about some essential oils that I drink every day. You need to always use glass to drink out of if you add essential oils to your liquid.
What I did was purchase a glass bottle that I like the color of. I chose a green bottle that Perrier water is sold in at our local grocery store.
I peeled the label off of the bottle and cleaned it up with hot soapy water. The adhesive came right off. Then, I attached my favorite small cross, angel wing and key to the metal ring below the cap.
Now I have a beautiful glass drinking bottle that sits on my desk and is very pleasing to the eye.
I add one drop of lemon, grapefruit, and orange essential oils to a bottle with about 1 and a half pints of filtered water. I use Young Living Essential oils to make this blend.
I have never cared for using plastic ware. Give me glass or china to sip from. I also would rather eat with a set of chopsticks than a fork. It just feels better to me.
Just to prepare you, I have been working at producing some video logs (vlogs). It's harder than I thought it would be. Lighting, sound, weather and such have to be taken into consideration. Another challenge is trying to not look like a crazy woman in the forest that says and and "Umm..." way too many times.
I hope to have my next blog in video on Squatch It! with scenes from before, during and after a Squatching outing. I want to keep it fun, real and very interesting for you.
Until next time take good care of your health and God bless!
